Develop and demonstrate techniques and tools for assuring desired building performance across the building life cycle.

Activities / Approach

Develop Metracker, a demonstration tool for tracking building performance metrics based on IFC interoperability; Review and report on efforts to standardize performance metrics.

Accomplishments / Outcomes

Metracker demonstration tool; Report on standardized performance metrics; publications in Energy and Buildings, ACEEE, Green Buildings and NCBC Conferences; Metracker web page.

Future / Follow-on

GSA-Region 9 customization of Metracker for GEMnet.
