Motivation / Problem Statement

Federal Agencies were early adopters of LEED—now want to know results.

Activities / Approach

Collected 1-4 years of energy billing data on 14 of 20 current Federal LEED Facilities. Comparing actual energy use to predicted, ENERGY STAR® and other benchmarks.

Accomplishments / Outcomes

Presentations at ASHRAE, Greenbuild, ACEEE, other. (Final Report due in FY 06)

Future / Follow-on

Now partnering with USGBC on evaluating other LEED facilities.
