Electric DR is needed to reduce load on electric grid; new strategies and technologies needed for buildings.

Activities / Approach

Field studies and framework developing linking DR and energy efficiency.

Accomplishments / Outcomes

> 25 buildings in California with 8% reduction; Greater results NYTimes with advanced controls.

Future / Follow-on

Need to integrate DOE BT efforts with EPACT.
