Fei Yu is a PhD student of Architectural Department in Southeast University working on green building design and theory. She was suported by China Scholarship Council to extend her study on energy-efficient/low carborn building techniques, innovations, policy, and modeling. During her stay at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory until November 2022, Fei will be part of the Energy Foundation/Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory China Energy Fellowship Program in the Energy Technologies Area.
She has worked on the energy-saving building design optimization and the thermal-daylighting balance in large spaces of public buildings and has published papers on Building and Environment, Solar Energy, Indoor and built environment, etc. She has also been participated in the revision project of Jiangsu Design Standard for Green Buildings DGJ32/J 173-2014, leading by the government of Jiangsu Province in China. She is skilled in design, and is certificated for LEED GA, Microsoft Office Specialist, and National Counselor Certificate III.
