Marco holds a PhD and MS in Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering from UC Davis and MS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Bologna, Italy. He conducts research in the area of HVAC, sensors, controls, automation, modeling and data analytics applied to buildings. Marco has worked in several in multidisciplinary projects involving several disciplines: computer science, mechanical engineering, building science and human behavior and he is an expert in how these factors affect energy use.
