Research Survey: California Procurement

March 29, 2019

Purchasing professionals for large California organizations are invited to fill out a survey designed to help researchers better understand how large organizations purchase cost-effective, energy-related products.

The research, funded by the California Energy Commission, is being done in support of the California Opportunities for Accelerating Clean Energy (Cal-OP ACE ) Program.

Cal-OP ACE program supporter logosAnyone who has a role in procurement within a large California organization is encouraged to complete the survey. We are seeking respondents from across multiple sectors (e.g., healthcare, higher education, state/local government, business, retail, tech, etc.)

Results from the survey will inform the development of a series of resources and initiatives that address the procurement needs of California organizations. The ultimate goal of the Cal-OP ACE Program is to provide tools and services that can improve procurement processes and encourage the purchase of Distributed Energy Resources (DER) technologies — particularly those manufactured in the state of California.

If you are interested in supporting this research, please consider sharing the survey link across your extended networks. Should you have any questions on the project, please direct them to Gerald Robinson ([email protected]). Thank you for your assistance.

This important research is being carried out by Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory's Energy Technologies Area.
