Bo Shen
Dr. Bo Shen is an Energy and Environmental Policy Scientist at the Energy Technology Area of the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (Berkeley Lab). His research spans various domains, including clean energy transition, power sector decarbonization, energy efficiency policy and governance, techno-economic analysis of clean energy solutions, green financing, and emissions trading.
With over 25 years of international experience in the energy field, Dr. Shen has led teams and provided international consultancy for technical assistance projects funded by the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank. He holds a doctorate in energy and environmental policy, an MBA in finance, a master's degree in environmental studies, and a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
