Abstract

Technology Days are an opportunity for partners to learn about the 17 National Laboratories’ capabilities and how to leverage innovative technologies to boost their manufacturing competitiveness and sustainability. Technology Days aim to expose manufacturers to the various early-stage technologies best positioned to enable American industrial competitiveness and innovation. Additionally, the event highlights the lab resources and expertise that companies can access to tackle challenging industry problems. At Technology Days 2019, partners gathered at Lawrence Livermore National Lab and Lawrence Berkeley National Lab. This presentation showcased novel heat generation for power and process systems, including reacting flow research, burner technologies, low-swirl injectors, and cost-effective, ultra-low-emissions industrial boiler systems.
