Update on DOE ISO 50001 Programs

The U.S. Department of Energy’s Industrial Training and Assessment Centers (ITAC) program seeks to strengthen the American manufacturing base by providing assessments to small- and medium-sized manufacturing firms seeking to improve efficiency. The 2024 Directors’ Meeting welcomed faculty directors and staff from 40 universities and community colleges across the nation, providing opportunities for ITACs to showcase their latest achievements while learning from other like-minded professionals. This presentation showcases recent updates to the 50001 Ready program and associated resources, as well as the program’s progress in developing and delivering the 50001 Ready/ISO 50001 higher education curriculum pilots.
