Donghun Kim

Donghun Kim

Dr. Donghun Kim is a research scientist at LBNL. Before joining LBNL, he worked as a Research Assistant Professor at Purdue University. His academic background includes modeling, system identification, machine learning, control, and optimization for improving the operations of thermal energy systems, including HVAC&R, district energy, data centers, and grid systems. He has led over 15 DOE, CEC and industry projects in these areas and served as a subcommittee chair of Building Operations and Dynamics (TC Smart Building System) at ASHRAE.
